Great Problems in Biology for Physicists

PiTP 2019 is titled 'Great Problems in Biology for Physicists,' and will include topics: virology, cancer, immunology etc. Recent technologies have generated enormous amounts of hitherto unseen biological/genetic data. The modern physical measures enable novel approaches to deep understanding of biological data, allowing physicists to create fundamental biological measures. Therefore PiTP 2019 will focus on some of the great questions in biology.

PiTP 2019 Topics

Topics
DNA structure and sequencing; Principles of Evolution; Machine Learning; Viruses; Cancer; Immunology; Epigenetics; Aging; Neurobiology; Protein Structure; Functional Genomics; Cryomicroscopy
