Immunity exists innate and adaptive, in bacteria, fungi, mosses, lichens, plants, insects, animals and all living "boogers", and since life is possible only in symbioses (PIT00534), the interweaving of immunities is an obligatory process of life. Here we must pay attention to horizontal gene transfer (HGT = LGT -- PIT00111, PIT00255, PIT00330, PIT00612, PIT00613), without which life would be impossible, but everyone seems to "forget" about HGT in symbioses.
